Great interview with a great friend. Daryl Hornbeck joined The Protectors to talk about his decades in the U.S. Army from the 1990s through the GWOT. Daryl served four tours in Afghanistan and one in Iraq (where we served together). Daryl’s career took him from his initial enlistment in Artillery to becoming an EOD tech for the majority of his career. Daryl talks about deploying, loss, and then finding a new mission post-retirement building a veteran racing team called After Action Racing (AAR).
