Announcing the Podcast Hiatus

Okay , I'm going to try to record this in one shot . This is the final episode of the Protectors Podcast . I'm not going to say it's the final final episode . I think it's more of like a hiatus . It's going to be on hold for a bit . I've decided to pursue something that's going to take me out of the limelight and take me out of kind of the podcast realm for a little while , and with the Protectors Podcast I want to be able to focus 100% of my effort on that , and with this new opportunity I won't be able to do that . So I want to thank you all , the incredible listeners and supporters of the Protectors Podcast .

Reporters of the Protectors podcast . I remember starting the podcast using my phone and some headphones and people would call in and I'd have like a list of like 10 questions , 10 or 12 questions that I had , and I would just ask like well , where were you born ? It was like so bad , it was bad . Never listened to those first episodes of the Protectors . Eventually it morphed more into a conversation , and that's something I really enjoy doing . I love talking to people . The guests have been so diverse . I mean , I've had everyday people , everyday protectors , everyday heroes , and I've had , you know Herschel Woody Williams , a Medal of Honor recipient , and I did that in person and I still get goosebumps thinking about that right now . I've had so many of you on the show . I mean there's been 500 , what ? 38 , 539 episodes . I had so many of you on the show

and I've had so much support over the years and I really I appreciate that so much .

2019 , february of 2019 is when I started it and I wanted to have my own voice , and I wanted to have my own voice to have conversations with people , and I'm looking at something right now that I created with this podcast and I love it . I'm going to carry this wherever I go from now on , and it's the protector's coin number one . Now there's some of these out there . I think I had 50 of them made . Some of you have them , and this is very special to me because it reminds me of who I am and where I came from .

a protector , whether you are a father , a mother , a son , a daughter . You're always protecting those you love in some way or the other A husband , a wife , a boyfriend , a girlfriend , those that are on the street , those that are behind a keyboard being protectors . It's hard to sum up what a protector is . When I first started this podcast , a protector to me had to have some sort of service behind them , whether that be military or police or first responder . They had to be that type of protector . Over the years , I've had a lot of people come up to me and be like you know , I wish I did this , I wish I did that , I wish I served . But a lot of those people I talked to did serve . They served their community , they served their fellow man and woman . They're protectors . This isn't the end of the protectors . I know I shouldn't have said that this is the final episode . It's not . The protectors will be back Not sure when , but the protectors will be back .

And this is more of me , just very , very happy and grateful for all of your support . I want you to remember that every day , men and women put their lives on the line for us and I want you to support them . I want you to support the protector community and it's not just putting your life on the line . There are people out there giving their all to protect those around them and just remember that your kindness and just to be genuine . Be genuine people . I know I'm preaching , okay , I don't want to get upset and I don't want to get sad . I'm just being grateful because , for 530 something episodes , so many of you poured your heart out to me and you've allowed me to open up completely about myself and I want to thank you all for the support .
